Erie Management Group, LLC is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Clinton, IA
Responsibilities:
1. Delegate responsibilities and perform maintenance tasks throughout the plant as directed by the Maintenance Manager or Operations Engineer.
2. Assist in training Maintenance Technicians to ensure maximum growth potential.
3. Confer with technical and supervisory personnel to report or resolve conditions affecting safety, efficiency, and production related to maintenance.
4. Required to access tanks, vessels, and other confined spaces for maintenance purposes.
5. On-call rotation is mandatory where an employee will be required to be available during their off-shift to respond to outages, emergencies, and coverage for vacations.
6. Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain plant equipment such as cooling towers, storage tanks, vessels, pumps, heat exchangers, and centrifuges to ensure that all are functioning, and to maintain maximum efficiency.
7. Perform, track, and schedule routine preventative maintenance on all equipment.
8. Utilize CMMS Software to enter work orders and assist Maintenance Manager in monitoring and controlling spare parts inventory.
9. Patrol work areas to ensure proper plant operation.
10. Maintain electrical equipment throughout the plant using basic electrical troubleshooting.
11. Defrost frozen valves, using steam hoses.
12. Perform all tasks that are assigned during operational and non-operational times by plant management.
13. Maintain designated sanitary schedule to LEB standards.
14. Have a brief knowledge and understanding of the Process (HMI) Screens.
15. Other duties as assigned.
Education – Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school) in electrical repair and maintenance preferred.
Experience – 5 years of related manufacturing maintenance experience required
